Melissa “Mel” Aljoe was born in Singapore and raised in Sugar Land, Texas, where she graduated from Elkins High School. She attended Texas A & M University, College Station, TX, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in History and a Masters in Education. She moved to Houston and spent the next seven years as a high school history teacher and volleyball and golf coach.

When Melissa decided to make a career change she chose to become a full time professional Realtor.
