My Family and I have lived in and served the greater Houston area since 1968. My extended Family has been around the Houston area since the mid-1800's. My Name is Marilyn Phillips, Native Houstonian, grew up in South side of Houston. After I married in 1971, we moved to West part of Houston. Will celebrated Our 50th Wedding Anniversary. During these years , God Blessed us with 2 sons, & 5 beautiful grandchildren. My background in real estate started when I was a young child. My mothers family started in commercial and later started building homes few became Inspectors. My grandfather built many of churches & country clubs thru-out Downtown Houston, many of the old churches still standing also assisted with many Country Clubs built (River Oaks Country Club). Before getting into real estate, I worked in Mortgage banking for 5 years for First City National Bank, located in Downtown Houston on Main Street, & later transferred to Commercial Lending. After many years in banking I decided to go & try something different where I went to work in JP Courts Harris County for about 8 years. After many years with Court system, I decided to become a Realtor in 1990, as I love working & helping people & so I decided to put my negotiation skills & knowledge to work for Buyers. I became a Relocation Specialist working with many Buyers & sellers. I became Buyers Agent with many relocation companies from around the world. Adding many certifications over the years. Been Multi- Million Dollar Producer Since 1997 , Co-owned C21 Office for many years with my great friend Sharon Morton, who is/was my broker for many years. Before we became business partners, I was Sharon's Buyer's Agent, together we assisted Oil & Gas Industry Relocating 100's of employees to & from Houston & surrounding areas. I have met so many wonderful people from around the world and still today we remain good friends. Billions of dollars have been spent in our city purchasing homes. Shirley is a native Houstonian but has called Lake Conroe home for the past 30 years. Prior to real estate, Shirley owned and operated a military packaging company for nearly two decades. This experience carries over to her career in real estate. During her first year in real estate in 2008 she was honored with the title "Rookie of the Year by her first real estate firm."
