Jai "JP" Patel, is a Realtor based in Houston, TX. He was born in an entrepreneurial real estate family in Florida, and if you ever meet him, it's clear that his passion for real estate is let's say, refreshingly in-depth. You might also hear of a time when he was young and would practice building homes out of legos and then practice the sales pitch on the Lego people.
JP quickly turned his passion for legos into something more meaningful, at the age of 18 he got his first real estate license and went on to study Economics and Finance at the University of Florida. While studying, he interned and was hired at a regional financial firm for high net worth clients as an advisor and portfolio trader. He also started a small business in Gainesville and that ultimately transitioned him into the hospitality industry.
As a Commercial Asset Manager, he was in charge of operations and development for multiple companies of which holdings included: full service hotels, national franchise restaurants, bars, and retail space.
In 2017, he started flipping houses in Houston, while getting certified as a mortgage loan officer. 2018 marked a transition into real estate full time as an investor and agent. He became a Realtor in Texas, currently with over 360 additional hours of certified real estate education, and has focused on properties that need remodeling or new build construction. He has had a home featured on HGTV's House Hunters, interviewed by Diana Olick for CNBC's Rising Risks, and other various publications.
Ultimately his passion is being able to be an approachable person that brings his experience and knowledge in construction and finance to help his clients make major financial decisions with facts and objective information at a pace that's comfort
