During the past 17 years, Lorraine Abercrombie has been a part of the dynamic and energetic marketing team of Greenwood King. As Director of Marketing, Lorraine spearheads the development and implementation of targeted marketing strategies from direct mail programs to web and print advertising. Leveraging new technologies and established relationships throughout the advertising and real estate communities, Lorraine coordinates both the internal marketing staff and independent consultant’s efforts to produce the most cutting-edge, informational and effective sales support found in the real estate industry. Her group supports both individual agents and the company as a whole with direct mail, advertising and public relations.

In addition to her responsibilities at Greenwood King, Lorraine has been actively involved in HAR for many years, occupying the position of chair in 2006 and currently serving as vice chair of the HRIS board of directors and as the chair of the Communications Advisory Group.

I wasn’t born in Texas, but I got here as fast as I could as the saying goes.  I have lived in Houston since 1985 and have been the Broker/Owner of Ayers & Associates, Realtor®, a boutique firm residing in the inner loop for the last 14 years.  Before my career in real estate, I was the Laboratory Director for the Environmental Protection Agency, Region VI.

Since becoming a full time Realtor® I have loved being part of this great community, and as part of that commitment I have continually strived to give back to our members.  I believe that as a professional it is important to serve where ever possible and to participate in improving our industry through professional standards, knowledge and accountability.

As part of my ongoing commitment to our industry I now volunteer on the Texas Association of Realtors Board of Directors, the TAR Professional Standards Committee, the HAR Technology Advisory Group, the HAR Information Taskforce, and the Forms and Contracts Advisory Group.  In addition, I am the host of a small group of like minded Realtors® through a coaching program.  The interaction with these agents has been very rewarding and offers each of us the opportunity to share and grow professionally.

I am a proud member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR), Texas Association of Realtors (TAR), Houston Association of Realtors (HAR), Houston Independent Real Estate Brokers Association (HIREBA), Women’s Council of Realtors (WCR), Lone Star Certified Residential Specialists Chapter (CRS), Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) and the Houston Chapter of  Luxury Home Marketing (CLHMS).

There is nothing easy or simple in representing clients and customers in their real estate needs and as an active Realtor® working every day, I am well aware of the issues facing each of us out there in the trenches trying to maintain our own standard of living and at the same time being acutely aware of the professional demands placed on each of us by our licensing requirements.  I feel my ongoing involvement, understanding of current issues, and dedication to our ongoing profitability uniquely qualifies me to represent the Houston Realtor® community on the Houston Board of Directors for the coming session.

Marilyn Arendt has been a Texas Realtor® since 1985. In 1992, she earned her brokers license and opened Marilyn Arendt Properties. She has served as the Westside Networking Breakfast Chair (1998); Realtor Rally Subcommittee Chair (1999); Professional Standards committee (2001 to present); MLS committee (2008). She is a Charter Member of the Houston Independent Real Estate Brokers Association (HIREBA) and served as its Treasurer. She holds a CBR® and Transnational Certification®.  Marilyn also is an “At Home With Diversity” video “actress.” She has attended numerous Texas Association of Realtors conventions and Legislative Days in Austin as well as National Association of Realtors, Washington, D.C. Hill visits.

Ignacio Osorio is President and CEO of Champions Real Estate Group, LLC licensed since 1988.  Passionately devoted to the profession of real estate sales, he considers the opportunity to assist someone with the purchase or sale of their home to be a sacred trust. Prior to co-founding Champions in early 2005, Mr. Osorio served for twenty-five years in the communications industry, with experience in data and voice operations. He served in the U.S Army and was Honorably Discharged in 1980. Ronnie L Miranda, SIOR, CCIM

Ronnie works with institutional owners in corporate real estate.  He is a real estate asset manager leasing and representing an office and retail portfolio that spans five states and exceeds 5M square feet.  He is a CCIM and member of SIOR and serves on multiple boards and committees. His professional memberships include ICSC, IREM, BOMA, TAR, HAR and other key industry groups.

Prior to his current assignment, Ronnie has worked in nearly all facets of the commercial real estate life cycle.  "From time spent in land acquisitions and development to leasing and management and ultimately brokerage and dispositions, I have gained a great deal of perspective and experience that will serve well on the HAR Board of Directors."

He is a passionate believer in life long personal and professional development and believes there is room for even more diversity in commercial real estate and enjoys networking, training, and mentoring with his peers. He is bilingual (fluent in Spanish) and lives in Houston's Westchase area. He and his wife have an 18 month old son, two pet dobermans, numerous aquariums of exotic fish and a pet parrot. His hobbies include fishing, golf, hunting, reading, writing, and the occasional cigar and card game.
