Sonia, a sixth generation Texan who grew up in Venezuela, is fluent in Spanish which puts her international clients at ease. Although she was raised in Venezuela, Sonia has lived in Houston since 1979. Mike has also been in Houston since 1979. Mike is a fifth generation Ohion. He considers Texas his "home".
The Tersigne's do just about everything together, from antiquing to remodeling & building homes to decorating. But what the couple does best is sell homes and make their clients satisfied homeowners. Their love for the aesthetic spills over into their work, where they help families every day find their dream homes. "We get a great deal of satisfaction helping people find what they want," say Sonia and Michael.
Talk about going the extra mile. Sonia and Michael will drive across town on a moment's notice, or show homes in the pouring rain, these aren't acts that the Tersigne's consider so unusual. "Buying a home is very personal decision and demands being able to accommodate your client is of utmost importance."
Michael has served as a docent for the Rice Design Alliance and Backyard Tours for "Clean Galveston", both have served as docents for the Galveston Historical Foundation Homes Tour . Sonia served on the zoning commission for West University Place. Michael served as Historian on the board of Knights of Momus, Galveston, the oldest Mardi Gras Krewe which promotes Galveston tourism. The husband-and-wife team enjoys architecture, antique shopping and remodeling and decorating homes. Their ability to understand their customers' needs and their emotional identification with homebuyers doesn't go unnoticed. They have been recognized as Top Producers since 1998.
