“Melissa was very patient in the process with us as we were new to Houston and not lived in the US in 20 years. Helping familiarize us with areas, types of properties, etc. She was also patient as our plans and thoughts changed through the process of house hunting and working with mortgage companies. We were looking for a property that may eventually be rental property and investment. One area although not significant that we felt could have been a bit better was some better discussion and background on rental properties in areas. Melissa did help us understand better how to do research and use the tools available to see if a place may not be interesting without having to physically visit. As I said she was patient and we looked at over 30 properties and even were considering changing properties at nearly the last minute, but did not. She reviewed the contracts with us, explained what everything meant, she went of the final closing documents and questioned challenged some items as needed. We plan to continue to work with Melissa and would recommend her for the future. We felt it was not only well planned, but the time and personal effort she put in showed she cared about us getting a good place. She has continued to work with us as we remodel the house and get settled in with advice and recommendations on design and personnel.”
