“Susan Roddy first helped me find a home in 2014 that was for lease. She was quick to find what we were looking for then, and was immediately responsive to my e-mail. She was not the listing agent, but when I saw her profile, I knew I had found the right realtor. Fast forward a year later (to the day), we have moved into a nice home on Lake Conroe. I was preapproved for a 275k FHA loan. I was initially looking at mobile homes and land as being a cheaper option, however, opted to go with a standard "brick and mortar" home. I reached out to Susan, who sent me several listings based on my criteria. I knew I had found the dream home. We put the house into contract in mid April. By May 15 (just over 30 days) we were at closing. The house was initially listed for 169k. We offered 165k. The appraisal came in less than the seller's asking price. Susan effectively negotiated to our terms, getting the repairs I wanted completed, and got the seller to agree to all of our terms. Needless to say, our finance amount was much lower, and the contract was amended several times. Susan got us in the house for 144k financed. Not bad. She got the seller to come to the realization of the appraised value, and after much persistence, got them to come to reality and our terms. We moved into our new home 1 year to the day that Susan got us our first home. I know one other realtor in North Texas that I trust. Susan Roddy will work hard to find you a home, or sell your home- and she is very effective at communicating, and is very prompt in dealing with any issues that arise, questions you may have. She is a true expert in her field and walks you through the entire process, step-by-step. She made our dream of being a homeowner in a nice subdivision come true. I would not work with any other Realtor besides Susan Roddy. I don't just consider her a Realtor, I consider her a true friend. ”
