The USDA loan program is not property specific per se. It is available to be used on homes that lie within the geographical boundaries, as well as areas with populations less than 20,000; therefore the City of Houston would not qualify. This loan type has a maximum income limit based on the number of people that will occupy the home. It also has ratio requirements as many loans do.
