Can anyone help us find a rental home with bad credit but great income?

Our credit history is a very long story. We were doing great with our credit, then my husband had a workmans comp surgery and was let go. Credit hit a downslide, we were slowly picking it back up and in 2014 we relocated to Dallas (thankfully the realtor knew a landlord that would rent to us!) but we were only there a year because they got rid of his position. So once again our credit was hit again. He now has a judgement against him not pertaining to a morgage or auto and his score is around 530, mine is around 615. I am working on mine currently but i don't work at the moment so we can't use my score to help. Now he has been living in Houston area for 2 1/2 years now and I am in Arkansas. His job is giving him a place to stay for about 2 years now, me and my boys stayed with him for a year but had to move back because we had another baby and there is not enough room in the house now. We want and need to be with him. We currently own the house in Arkansas but did a rent to own kinda thing and no document shows we made payments, other than we have the deed to the house now because we paid it off. So we really have no rental history. We are looking to rent in the Katy, League City, Dickinson, Webster, Pearland, Sugarland, Friendswood areas. Any help would be appreciated!

Hi Tammy,
In short, I can help you, as a property manager, I have several rentals open in Richmond and Katy that might work for you.
Please email me a bit more details (your income, how many bedrooms you need, monthly budget).
Best,

Dear Tammy,
If your income is high enough, even though your credit may not high enough. Generally I have found that you can pay for more months in advance and a higher security deposit.
Remember if your agent has not recommended such solutions then you do not have a good realtor and they are not negotiating for you. Let me know and I am happy to help. Dominik
