Florida has mutual recognition with seven states for real estate license holders to get an equivalent in Florida, however, Texas is not one of those states. That leaves a license holder in Texas at square one to get licensed in Florida. This link takes you to the licensing requirements for Florida, which are similar to Texas requirements: https://www.myfloridalicense.com/intentions2.asp?chBoard=true&boardid=25&SID;=
