As a new real estate agent, what are a few creative ways that I could develop leads?

Definately do a hobby you like.
People will like you and will want to deal with you in real estate.

Hi Trevon, welcome to the world of real estate. I find that talking to people about real estate in general will get you good exposure. Try helping others with their questions and soon they will come looking for you. Just my two cents. Hope it helps.

Very well said Nelle. As you go along you will try out different things like door knocking, cold calling, calling expireds from the MLS, networking at events and restaurants, bas and ect. , reaching out to friends and family, but only a few may fit your style currently until you become more comfortable. One really helpful project that my broker had us do, that was severely uncomfortable was to call every last number in my cell phone and tell them I was a Realtor. I was so nerve up but my friends and family have help keep my business afloat. I don't farm certain areas, yet, but maybe in the furture. I just go where the money is within a certain travel time.

Whatever path you decide to take you must be consistent. This is not a get rich quick industry. You must invest in yourself (education, marketing,branding and a good broker partner).
1. Start digital door knocking. Meaning door knocking with a specific purpose that interest your prospective clients. You can do this now with the Nextdoor app and Google Local Guides.
2. Make partnerships with loan officers and insurance agents or people who can refer business to you or, provide you with a list of previous clients that the two of you can call, text, and email.
3. Engage your current sphere. Make them apart of your journey. Hold a ribbon cutting or an open for business event for yourself and have prizes. Ask each attendee to refer someone they know. At the end pull out a referral form for a drawing of some of the prizes
4. Make friends with builders. Not the huge big builders but the smaller local ones often time they need assistance with marketing some of their listings. This will get buyer traffic for you if marketed correctly.
