Hi John, There are many aspects to your question and I would need to ask you more question such as: how much capital do you have to invest? Hello John. Lots of good areas to invest all across Houston. May I suggest areas in northwest Houston including 77095. With the opening of the Grand Parkway and widening of Hwy 290 will make this area more accessible. In addition, a wide variety of properties, ages and price ranges. But before answering this question, a good Realtor would also need to know more information such as your budget, what your doing with the property (will you live there, flip it, rent it out, etc), how long do you plan to keep this property, what other types of properties do you own, etc. Sometimes it is not a zip code, but near something like a business (Exxon Mobile in The Woodlands) or near the nearest Traders Joes or Wholefood Market. Give us a call, we can help you!
John, great question! There are multiple variables in determining a correct answer this question. First, when you say "invest," are you looking to 'flip' a property fast, are you looking for a rental property to generate monthly income, or are you just wanting to buy something in an area that shows signs of a price boom over the next few years? Additionally, there are multiple zip codes that are GREAT for all of the previously mentioned investment scenarios, however the prices of 'investment properties' within those zip codes could range from $35,000 to $600,000+ and still potentially be a sound investment depending on what price point you deem to be acceptable. Hope this helps narrow things down to get a better answer, thanks for posting!
