Kenya Burrell is a sixth generation Texan, and native Houstonian. She has been actively involved in real estate for 14 years, with a focus in residential real estate, new home construction and sales/marketing management.
In 2006, she earned her CIPS in Paris, France in an effort to better serve her international clientele. The protection of private property rights, and advocating for better public policies, are the reasons that she is involved in Texas Real Estate Political Action Committee (TREPAC) for the Texas Association of Realtors.
She currently serves on the board of directors for the Houston Association of Realtors Executive Committee as 2nd Vice Chair, and is the Chairman for TREPAC.
Community involvement is important to Kenya, and she believes in giving back to help others. She serves on the board of directors for the Hobby Center of the Performing Arts, is involved in her church, and a number of community based organizations.
In her spare time, Kenya enjoys traveling, reading and spending time with family and friends.
