Texas Real Estate Political Action Committee (TREPAC) is the primary tool used by REALTORS and other real estate professionals in Texas to elect officials who share our philosophy of strong property rights and a strong and healthy business environment.

TREPAC is NON-PARTISAN! In the 2007 TREPAC year (October 3, 2006-September 30, 2007), HAR TREPAC contributed $78,500 to over 42 federal, state, and local candidates. 22 of the candidates were Democrats while 20 were RepublicansIn 2008, HAR TREPAC supported 31 Republicans and 20 Democrats. 

On the national level, RPAC supported 53% Republicans and 47% Democrats in direct contributions for 2006.  RPAC 2008 so far has spent $1,364,100 on Democratic campaigns and $983,250 on Republican campaigns.

The PAC is a voluntary, nonprofit, unincorporated group whose membership consists of REALTORS and others interested in protecting the free rights of property ownership in Texas and the United States. As a political action committee, TREPAC complies with all federal and state campaign contribution laws. The voluntary investments the PAC receives are used to support candidates for federal, state, and local office who demonstrate their support for the preservation of real property rights and the real estate profession. The Political Affairs Advisory Group determines which candidates will receive endorsement and support.
