Rob Cook and Bob Hale attended Mayor Bill White’s private reception. Margie Dorrance, Minnette Boesel, Ray Holtzapple, and Mary Dee Neal attended the Campaign Kick Gala.
May 23
I attended the Texas Ladies of the Legislature Luncheon at the Texas Disposal Systems Exotic Game Ranch outside of Austin as a guest of State Representative Bill Callegari’s wife, Ann.

Billy Burt, John Nugent, Mary Keen, and I attended Harris County Commissioner Sylvia Garcia’s Annual Campaign Luncheon at the Hyatt Regency Downtown.

“Being an Informed Consumer in the Fort Bend Housing Market” townhall meeting with U.S. Representative Nick Lampson was held at the Sugar Land City Hall from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Fort Bend Realtors® were invited to attend. 130 people attended. The audience was primarily Realtors®. Sandy MacNaughton, Ed Wolff, Shad Bogany, and Jeff Lischer from NAR will be speakers, in addition to U.S. Representative Nick Lampson, a representative from the FBI and Sugar Land.
The town hall was covered by Fox 26 News on May 29 at 9 p.m. and May 30 at 5 a.m. This also led to a broader follow up story about mortgage fraud which included an interview with Ed Wolff on May 31 at 9 a.m. In addition, an article was written in the Houston Chronicle in the Fort Bend County News section.
