Real estate cycles and their nature along with an understanding of how the U.S. monetary system works and government’s influence upon it will be discussed. Students will become familiar with the major participants in the secondary mortgage market as well as sources of funding. Real Estate Finance also incorporates knowledge of instruments used in financing real estate transactions and the types of programs available to do so. Government loans, how processing loans works, and defaults and foreclosures are examined as well.
Classes will meet Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for two weeks. This class is also broad to locations in Arlington, Austin, Lubbock, and New Braunfels.
