Hi,

Christmas well holidays period... can be a season of getting into debt just to see someone smile or have your home be the brightest and the best in the neighborhood. Some know it's about relaxing, seeing family and catching those forever Macy's One day Sales (guilty as charged lol). The plastic surgery I am referring to are those credit cards that should not be maxed out because there is life after the minimum payment, right? I always recommend and at least try this once a year. Call your credit card company and ask them to reduce your interest rate because you have been receiving other credit card promotionals that are a lot better. Just like that, my success rate has been 100% when it comes to my one little credit card rate being lowered when asked. Try it. Credit card companies won't tell you they can, unless you ask.

Don't open up a new account to save 15% just to lose 15 points on your credit score, ugh. You would do better putting it on lay away or waiting. Ask yourself is it a need or greed? Some stay within their budget with gift cards at a certain amount every year that they buy randomly throughout the year.

If your interest on your credit card is charging more interest than the money sitting in your savings gaining less that 1%. Pay it off! or at least 1/2 of it. Do like the elders would advise SAVE for it unless you know you can pay it off in a short amount  time 30-60 days, my opinion. Pay your bills on time especially the credit card even if it is that little $25 minimum payment, on time payments increase your credit score. Have a bless day!

If you know someone interested in buying or selling their home and need a consultation, please pass my information along. 832.545.7005. I do send out referral tokens once a month.
