Planning on buying a new Kingwood Texas Home? If so, once you close the deal and that house is officially yours there are a variety of people including friends, family members and neighbors that you should notify of your impending move.

Who Should You Notify?

  • Your Employer
  • The Post Office
  • Current Landlord
  • IRS
  • Creditors and Credit Car Companies
  • Insurance Providers
  • Bank
  • Credit Union
  • Veterinarian
  • DMV
  • Utilities
  • Phone company or cell phone provider
  • Internet service provider
  • Schools
  • Other creditors

Note – You can easily change your address online with many of these organizations through their websites but you should also fill out a change of address form with your local USPS anyway just so they are notified that you’re moving.

Some Additional Thoughts On Your Move

Before moving into your Home remember that in addition to contacting creditors and service providers you should also send an email to your friends and family members as well just so they are aware of your upcoming move.
