I have always loved home tours.  Whether it's going to a builder's home in a new neighborhood, a holiday home tour, a historical home tour or a modern home tour in Houston!

Living in the greater Houston area is like living in a candy store for awesome architecture and homes.  There is such a variety.  Drive through many neighborhoods in Houston and you will see traditional alongside modern, new construction next to renovated historical homes, large alongside small...the list is endless.

If you love to look at homes as much as I do, there are several home tours coming up in Houston that you absolutely don't want to miss.  The first one is the Houston Modern Home Tour scheduled for Sat., Sept. 27 from 11:am - 5:00pm. For just $40 visit modern homes that you might drive by everyday.  Talk with the architects and designers and get ideas.  This truly is one of the best tours.  My husband and I went last year and thoroughly enjoyed it.  For information and to get tickets, go to https://www.eventbrite.com/e/mads-modern-home-tour-houston-2017-tickets-35953075617.

Another excellent Houston tour is the AIA (American Institute of Archiects) Houston Home Tour.  This tour is scheduled for Oct. 21-22.  This tour will give you a glimpse into homes with a variety of styles and sizes, all designed by architects.  For just $25, this non-profit fundraiser will give you a first hand look at some amazing homes with new ideas, beautiful interiors and incredible landscapes.  For information and tickets to this tour, go to https://aiahouston.org/v/site-home/Home-Tour/3t/.

Enjoy your day, take pictures, jot down ideas, speak with the designers and architects and most of all, have fun enjoying our beautiful city filled with an abudance of beautiful homes!
