This year has been another incredibly busy year for the Humble Texas Real Estate market and nearby communities like Kingwood and Atascocita.

Buyers from all generations including Empty Nesters, Millennials and Generation X have been searching for homes that’s why in this article I will share with you House Hunting Tips for every generation.

Empty Nesters

Are you planning on selling your home and downsizing because your children just moved out?

When choosing a new smaller home, townhome or condo you should choose a home with at least one extra bedroom that you can set aside as a guest room.

You should also think about the next 10-15 years and choose a home that’s on one story since this will be easier for mobility as you grow older and you should also choose a home that’s close to shops, stores and the amenities that you use on a regular basis.

Millennials

Planning on buying your first home in the Kingwood Texas Real Estate market or surrounding area? You should consider choosing a home that’s in a great school district, is close to shops/stores and is within 30 minutes or less from your job.

Generation X

Last of all is Generation X; if you’re a part of this generation you may find yourself with aging parents and teenagers in your home.

Consider searching for a home which offers an in-law suite so that you can let your parents live with you as they age or offer your teenagers their own space that’s separate from the main house but is still part of the home.
