Pearland, Texas

Pearland’s history dates back to 1861 with a land grant by the Houston, Tap and Brazoria Railroad Co. Much of the town’s life centered around the Santa Fe Railroad Depot. To attract new settlers, the area was promoted as the “land of fruit trees.” Over 150 years later, Pearland is still growing and is one of the fastest growing cities in Texas.

Located south of Houston, Pearland’s biggest asset is its location. It’s approximately 20 minutes from downtown Houston, about 15 minutes from the Texas Medical Center and NASA’s Johnson Space Center, and about 10 minutes from Houston’s Hobby Airport. Residence enjoy all the shopping amenities they need without leaving the area. The Pearland Town Center and surrounding area has it all; shopping, banking, restaurants, movie theatre, hospitals, clinics, hotels, grocery stores, car repair, etc.
