I mainly hear from buyers "will the Zestimate is...." on homes they are interested in. Many time that "Zestimate" is inaccurate and they loose out on a home that is actually priced correctly. The market is what drives the housing prices, what serious buyers are willing to pay.
Here in the Houston metropolitain area, prices are going down. Homes are on the market longer giving buyers a chance to shop around for a place that fits their lifestyles better. In Houston, our inventory levels are up creating a different market than a year ago. Deals are still being made and sellers are still able to make a profit if they have some equity in their home.
Interest is still at a record low! Take advantage of this low interest while you can if you are in a position to purchase a home.
