It's hard to imagine life without water, as a matter of fact, its a precious resource that we take for granted every day. The availability of water could be a critical issue in the future of Texas.

Water issues impact all Texans: farmers, ranchers, urban and rural dwellers, landowners, business owners....EVERYONE!

There is a constitutional Amendment that addresses water for Texans, Proposition 6, the constitutional amendment that establishes a State Water Implementation Fund for Texas that provides a solution to meet our growing water needs without incurring debt in the process. With the support of Proposition 6, Texas officials could leverage $2 billion from the rainy day fund into $30 billion for new reservoirs, pipelines and other water supply projects for the next 50 years.

Now ask yourself, could you sell a house without water?

Additional information about Proposition 6 may be found at www.txwaterprop6yes.org or www.TexasRealtors.com/magazine

The Texas Association of Realtors supports a vote for Proposition 6. Exercise your right to make a difference this November 5th.
