Arriving in Houston in 1980 as a Vice President in the Energy Group of a major Houston Bank, just as the oil and gas industry experienced one of its most challenging periods, Peter Boesel knows a thing or two about creative problem solving. Finding new approaches to demanding situations and handling the needs of a broad array of clients, Peter developed business skills that continue to serve him and his clientele today.

He further honed his business acumen in the late 80s, as he and a partner joint-ventured the acquisition of an existing contracting business serving the petrochemical industry along the Gulf Coast. Within three years, peak employment had tripled to over 330 employees! But, missing lending, Peter sold to his partner and began a successful life in the mortgage business where he stayed for over 10 years - opening offices in several Texas cities.

Meanwhile, his wife Minnette who has a passion for - and a Master’s degree in - historic preservation found herself owning and operating a boutique real estate firm specializing in restoring and marketing historic properties in Downtown and Midtown Houston. As revitalization and interest in the area grew in the late 90s, she and her company began handling the sales of several downtown high-rise buildings and business was very brisk - so busy, in fact, that Peter could resist no more. He shifted from the mortgage business to real estate sales to help his wife. Together they became legendary in Downtown sales, as well as investors in the development of several projects. They also partnered with Heritage Texas in the initial sales of The Franklin Lofts.

He brought with him a fantastic array of skills. Simply: “I know what it takes to run a business and how to deal with people and negotiations.” Peter’s clients get more than first class representation when buying or selling a property, they also benefit from his extensive business and banking background, which gives him an edge in structuring transactions. An Accredited Buyer’s Representative, Peter works hard stay on top of the industry so he can offer clients first class knowledge and service.

Early in his career, a mentor shared what Peter says has become his business philosophy - “the harder you work, the luckier you will be!” Peter believes that preparation is essential and looking a few steps ahead allows one the ability to avoid stumbling blocks. Educating clients as to their wide range of options, he works hard building strong relationships that last beyond the close of the transaction. Peter says, “If they’re not happy, I’m not happy!”

Peter and Minnette are residents of River Oaks but maintain their passion for Downtown, Midtown, and the close-in neighborhoods that surround it.
