A new luxury movie theater will open near Westheimer and Westcreek sometime in 2014. The Florida company, iPic, will open the 8 screen, 560 seat theater and each movie room will seat 50-90 people. iPic has 9 locations in 7 states, including theaters in Austin and Fairview, TX. 

The premium experience includes individual call buttons for dining and bar service.

iPic sounds like it will give the Alamo Drafthouse a run for its money.

The Westcreek development is a $275 million mixed use center including 278 residences, almost 100,000 SF of office space and 270,000 SF of retail space including restaurants. No hotels are slated to open.
